Carers FIRST is a growing charity supporting adult and young carers working in areas across the South East, London, East Midlands and East of England.  A carer is anyone who looks after a relative or friend who due to ill health, physical or mental illness, disability, frailty or addiction, cannot manage without their support.

Director of Income & Communications

Salary: £49,000 - £55,000

Full Time

Location: Flexible (Essex, Lincolnshire, London or Medway)

Our new Director of Income & Communications will lead, inspire and manage a newly integrated Income and Communications team to achieve the charity’s ambition of diversifying and increasing income, reaching more carers and increasing awareness of Carers First and challenges facing carers.

You will oversee the development of an inspiring new Carers First brand, key messages and case for support and build engagement with key audiences.

    Salary: £49,000 - £55,000

    Full Time

    Location: Flexible (Essex, Lincolnshire, London or Medway)

    Director of Services will lead, inspire and manage our community-based services teams, Carers Hub and volunteer team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and accomplished leader who can work in co-production with carers to ensure that our services are exceptional, well led, innovative and contribute to making a positive difference to the lives of carers.
